That is why they have track insurance! The car will see much more auto crossing than track days so I am not too worried. I am more worried about parking it in a parking lot than anything else.

Here are a couple pictures of the not so sexy underside of the hood and the modifications. It almost totally eliminated the flex it had before.

The hood bumpers are now in place. It came out pretty clean.

The air intake work has started and has turned out to be much more complex than we planned it would be. In order to get enough filter space we had to strip up to panel filters. We just couldn’t get enough surface area with a cone filter with the space we had.

The filter setup is about 1/2 done now. This is the lower section that will hold the elements. The top portion will hold the elements down, be appealing to the eye and allow cold air to come in from the scoop. Here are a couple pictures of where we are now.
