Well just in case anyone wanted to see my Dyno run, here ya go! lol
So now that all this crazy stuff is over with, i can get back to working on MY car!

Well the sad day has finally come... Threw a rod this morning 
We'll see how it goes once i hear back from the shop.
Having a hard time convincing my mom its not worth saving, maybe once she sees the $3000+ repair costs maybe she'll change her mind but its all up in the air right now.
If i keep it it will be getting rods, built head, and E85.

So just to update this thread a little bit... The dealer is dropping the oil pan today so I will have an update on for sure what it is and what I'm going to do later tonight.
Anything is up in the air at this point.
Possibly leaving the Volvo family but I'm trying my hardest not to... I love all you guys and Volvos so i dont wanna leave lol.
Hopefully it turns out not to be a rod in just a lifter or something and all I will need is some headwork which in that case I will get a port and polish head.
Like I said nothing is for sure until we hear back from the dealer but we will find out here very soon. Keep your fingers crossed for something cool lol
Just got the final decision tonight.
Found out 2 rods got bent lol.
I will be keeping the car. Got a friend at Excelsior Racing in Indiana who will swap a used 2.4i motor with 110k on it for about $2400 out the door WITH a new timing belt! WIN! (Sort of)
Also some good news is i get to keep the blown motor. So i will build that head and do some tuff to that and then throw it on this car when i'm ready!
So there will be a full engine part out soon! Be on the lookout!
So the plans with the car will continue and hopefully this season it will be cool!!
Glad to me staying in the Volvo fam
