Took a roadtrip to Perfect North Slopes and Had a blowout in the middle of a long straight away on I71 south towards Louisville from Cincinatti. My dumb a$$ doesn't keep my spare tire in the car so i had to wait for AAA since i was an hour away from home.

I hit a magical pothole the size of the grand canyon i swear. We wenr back and looked for it and there was not 1 bump in the road... Kind of scary honestly.

I think all that happened was the bead came off the tire so we'll try and see if i can get it back on tomorrow... If not, i'll be putting the stock black winter wheel set on.

We'll see what happens.

$120 towing fee set me back a little so i probably wont be getting that tune before end of january... Need to save for the timing belt anyways.

Oh well.... I'm okay and the car's okay thats all that matters for now. I'll get it straightened out. Just sucks that it happened. Maybe it was my car's way of saying, "You're slow... Put the spare tire in because taking out 20lbs isnt going ti make a difference." Lol

Well guys i have good news and bad news:

Last night coming home i hit a magical pothole that left 5 gashes in the side wall. 1 hour away from home, had to call a flat bed... $120 later in my garage i fitted my much needed winter wheels. Looks very funny. Haha. 15mm spacers rear and 10mm up front are still on the car.

Might re plastidip them black idk yet.

So anyways, the good news is i finally got around to finishing the manifold cover. I wrapped it on both sides with 2000 degree heat wrap, then carbon fiber wrapped over top of that on the outside to make it look better. With this being my first attempt, i thinki did good. If i ever made another it would look way better, learning things is a process but it's fun at least!

Enjoy

Mounted and finished! Yes the edges are still rough but the main thing is that it does its job and doesnt look too bad!

Now some other new ideas and projects:

I will be making a whole new intake funnel, entrance funnel in the grille, and intake box... Just because i can and it will be fully custom and a true cold air intake which no one had made like before for this car. Should look good.

That flat tire set me back a little bit so the tune isn't happening soon.

For the next week or so i will do a few mods but after that the car wont get touched for a few months other than oil changes and maintenance probably. Collecting parts for some upgrades and saving for the 110-115k service maintenance... (FPS, coilovers, timing belt, mounts and bushings, etc).

So just giving a heads up. The Pegs will get powder coated sooner ir later but not any time soon because i'll be putting them back on in probably late febuary/early march.

Happy new year guys! 2015 should be an awesome year
