Havn't updated in a while sooooo here we go.

Got the dynamic trim kit all fixed and good to go. I have to repaint the front lip. Wheels are possibly getting powder coated.

Coilovers are coming at the end of this month

Along with a rear sway bar, Poly bushings, end links, ultrgauge and maybe a tune

As i stated in another thread, i finished wrapping the front "audi style" part in carbon fiber along with the grille. Couldnt be happier with the results!! After 4 hours of tedious work i made sure all the "carbon fiber lines" matched up perfectly and all go in the same direction with not 1 bubble in the wrap! Got some well needed practice!!

I'll be doing the rear diffuser, mirror part(s) (hard to explain but you will see), all of the black vinyl weather/window stripping (along with the B pillars).

Should look good when im done! I've wanted to do it for a while and never got around to it and i'm very happy i decided to do it!

Welllll more and more updates and parts are in the works! Doing some cool stuff and have got nothing put positive feedback from everyone!

I want to thank everyone who's given me feedback and have supported me! You guys rock!!

Now onto goodies....

Have a car show in the AM (which happens to be my birthday  ) and finished up some stuff.

Went and bought some .025 aluminum and started working on a plate that covers my exhaust tips and keep the black tar off my bumper and harmful fumes off the paint.

Took me ALL DAY and my hands are cramping from cutting it all. But it's well worth it! Also wrapped in carbon fiber to match everything else im doing with the car soo heres how it looks! Just a few pictures nothing major ill get some good ones soon.

Also painted the "R" logo on my Pegs red.

Also gonna look at these seats from my buddy tomorrow so hopefully these will be in my possession soon too!

Will keep yall updated as usual!

Got some goodies planned!!

Gonna custom make a heat shield for the intake so it's actually a cold intake.

Also gonna start on the skid plate for gas tank

And also gonna start sanding down the rear suspension components and under carriage to get fully repainted to look more clean!

Gonna be a good year i cant wait

Made a seperate post saying the same thing as i am here, but i wanted to update the progression thread for easy reference.

Seems like everytime i go into the garage to replace something simple, (In this case replacing license plate bulbs)i end up thinking about custom things to make for my car and well.... I decided to make a heat shield to keep the intake colder and keep the heat from intake manifold out of the way of the intake.

This looks to be only for the 2.4i that has a home made intake of sorts (or aftermarket with poor heat-shield).

If anyone wants to talk to me personally about making one or anything like that don't be afraid to message me!

I will be making ECU holders soon so be on the look out for that too.

Now for the pics...

Started with a blank piece of aluminum and started to mock up the fitment:

Bent the tabs for the mounting points on the upper intake manifold outside bolts… p

Perfectly safe!

Making it look cleaner and marking where it needed to be trimmed

Then I made a circular type bend so that it fits about .25-.5 inch away from the intake manifold.

This way, you still have full access of the oil filter for easy oil changes without having to take the shield off.

Also cleared up some fitment issues

Fully bolted up almost in a finalized position. As you can see the furthest right manifold "tube" where I cut it out to make it look cleaner needed to be repositioned, and I did that but don’t have a pic.

This was the best pic I got at the end. Tomorrow I will be rapping it with heat shield wrap to protect even more from any heat soak from the manifold. Should be fully functional and should make a little but of difference. Anything helps guys!

Also it's gonna help cool it.

Hope you guys enjoy seeing these little DIY projects! Lots lots more to come I just wanted to post this!
