Did some test off of the car, and it turns out the L-shaped coolant elbow off of the back of the head was not sealing properly due to corrosion. With the hose slipped over the nipple, it would leak a drip or two with pressure. But when you put the clamp on that became a more "urgent" drip. My guess is, when the car was running and things were heated up, it sealed better, but when the car cooled down and that metal nipple contracted a bit, the leak started. A slow drip over several months lead to a decent puddle of coolant under the car. I had to order an aftermarket 90 degree nipple from Summit, as you can't find those coolant fittings anymore, and I don't want another used one.
The long pipe from the water pump has the same type of corrosion on the end of it, so I went ahead and ordered a brand new one from VP as a precaution. Seeing as I have to refill the coolant anyway, figured I'd change that at the same time.
