This video is a complete guide to replace your CV axles on any MKIV VW car. This will work for both Golf and Jetta! I used Raxles for my replacement, but this guide will work for any brand axle.

My method is a little different, rather than remove the ball joint, I separate the spindle from the strut. In my opinion this method is a lot easier, and doesn't require an alignment when you're finished! This can seem like a daunting task, but you'll see it can be quite simple by following my video. It doesn't even require a ton of advanced tools, so you'll definitely save money by going the DIY route.
