Front Seat Removal

I thought I'd make this DIY thread as I'm building my GTI. Credit goes to sleshVW from this thread:http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?&id=2157992

1. Push seat back in order to see under from front

2. locate the allen screw that is in front of rail in center under the seat

3. remove allen screw

4. pull seat forward as far as it will go.

5. remove the plastic covers hiding the seat rails in back of front seat.

6. lift up on the slide bar and push the seat all the way back. It should slide right back and off the rails.
