Been no updates. First I was busy, then I was outta the country for a bit, then I was jetlagged, then I had a little surgery and now Im layed up recovering.
Theres bascially nothing else to do. I could do it all in one Saturday when I have time and energy.

Should be soon that I have some final updates. I have a few things ordered. Slave hose was leaking so Im waiting on one of those to come in and will be replaced.
Got NOS gas cap coming and an amp so I can run a system off my iPod and leave the old Blaupunkt hooked up in the dash to the single factory speaker.
Antichristonwheels made me a cool black box that should my tach work with the VR. Gotta wire that in too.

Getting a set of wheels from Japan that will hopefully go on the car later in the summer. In good shape but I want to make them perfect and paint them and all.
Should be here in a few weeks. They might not make it to SoWo depending on what I do but Ive sold the gold mesh Axis wheels. At the moment the car has ATS cups from my Mk3 that will eventually go back to the mk3.

These are the new wheels that arent here yet.

Started wiring up the tach box antichristonwheels made for me.
This box should essentially convert the tach signal from the VR coil packs to work on the 4cyl rabbit tach. We believe it will work but Ill report to be sure.
If it does it'll have saved me $250 over buying the Momentum tach box. 

Just waiting on my speedo cable to show up Monday to wire the final wire to the back of the cluster. Will pull the cluster and install tach, speedo cable and wire in tach box to cluster then.

The magic box mounted all snug to the bottom of the VR fuse box...




Two wires had to come from the box to the VR coil pack and one wire will go from the box to the tach itself.



Terminals soldered to the wires and attached under signal posts on the coil pack.
