Got my axle back and put it together.
Put in the car and seems to fit perfect from what I can tell.

Been just knocking out little things today but mostly trying to secure all wiring and now just need to mount the ECU solid.
Havent wired my fans yet...hence the other thread about them

PS: buy the wheels in my sig.

Played around with my shift linkage some and I can now get it in all gears although reverse is still a PITA. Not at all happy with this stuff but we'll see how it drives.
Maybe it could get better with more tinkering. Driving the 02' Passat into work this morning, I was thinking just how plush the shifting felt in comparison. Still not a fan of the OEM cable set ups but it may be what I go with in the end.

Left to do before the first-drive attempt: Add gear oil to trans (UPS is bringing it today), attach the exhaust to the downpipe, wire and mount the fans and the after run coolant pump, attach two coolant hoses, fill with coolant, secure the ECU in place (got all I need to do that yesterday).

I think that is all.
