1. Wash and degrease dash with a quality grease and wax remover.

2. After drying the dash thoroughly, use a 80 grit sandpaper to prep the surface for a good bite. Wash the dash again to remove residue.

3. Go to your local hardware store and buy a quality can of contact cement and a couple of small brushes. Don't bother with the 3m aerosol cans as your dash trim will lift soon after. Also purchase an x-acto knife.

4. Brush on the contact cement onto the Dash first as the dash will take longer to dry compared to the leather. Make sure you use a generous amount of contact cement. make sure you spread it out evenly.

5. Brush a generous amount of contact cement on the inside of the leather dash kit.

9. Wait until the contact cement is almost dry and not sticky anymore. You will need a pair of extra hands here. What I did was lined up the stitch line against the lip of the driver side gauge cluster (sorry I don't have pics here as I was too busy installing the dash kit) while the lovely wife held the passenger side away from the dash. Once the driver side was complete, I moved over to the middle and lined up the stitching over the clock then above the glove box. Once those are lined up properly, the rest is fairly easy. Once everything is in place, make sure to run your hands all over the dash with some pressure.

10. You will then pull your x-acto knife to cut the hole out for the clock, the defroster vents and the side vents. You will also have to remove the excess leather that is hanging over the dash and you will end up with something that looks like this.

11. Reinstall the dash into the car.

Useful tip

You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking.
