pdate, zt is on the road, done around 250 miles so far with minimal shake down run issues
pair of new rear abs rings at £60 a pop, did all 4 abs sensors while i was there
slapped some temp wheels on while getting the others redone
x4 wheels strippd blasted and powdercoated, with all new wider 245 40 18 acceleras
i developed a very unusal stray live issue, turned out the plug on the abs pump had a hole and filled with water, back fed to the new alternator and blew the diode pack, another new alternator, abs pump and abs pump plug and loom a nice £600 i could of done without spending
stripped down and repinned a mk1 vito plug setup with splash guard too
i didnt fancy any cable issues so all 3 new bonnet cables, latches catches and cable holders to make sure its perfect
front ball joints where knackered so got 2 new front wishbones and modified them for v8 use along with a paif of new drop links
new dust covers, i did paint the shockers after and restticker, arch liners put in with all new clips, still need to get mudflaps
it was going to have new top mounts but....yeah
alor of checking and rechecking, all lights working (have a short issue atm) getting it all lined up and routed correctly small brackets in place and screenwash bottle repaired leak checked etc, just boring time consuming items
first time front end was reassembled with plate etc
was abit of a o plop moment but coolant system took some burping, had to strip the scuttle panel down as 2 heater hoses leaking, common issues with silicone hoses mew clips with sealer and pressure tested the cooling system over normal operating pressure came back ok
have a short in a wire somewhere still to be found, quite a large one to pop a 50amp mega fuse to the LSM
about 10hp and 5ft lbs down from factory rating after 17 years, i can live with that
scrubs up well after the first clean
Supra is back out of the compound, it lost all the brake fluid, no idea where as no internal or external leaks, sorted that and vaccum pump issue, had the new fuel sat in the boot just cba to change it

I bet the purists probably don't like this, but screw them! This thing looks like a blast!

This thing is insane. Definitely not a swap I would think of doing, but it looks like it will be a blast to drive. I like the mad max look you have going too.
