In this video I modify the stock GC sub frame in preparation for fitting my LS engine. I used some 1 5/8" DOM mild steel tubing. Although the design would work, I did not like it so in the next video I will build a completely new sub frame of my own design. I use Benchmark Abrasives cutoff wheels, a Milwaukee angle grinder, an Eastwood 175 welder and Si Fang flap wheels.

In this video I make the lower section of the new rear passenger side fender. To make the car match left to right I use the lower piece of the old front door, just like I did on the drivers side. I use Benchmark Abrasives cutoff wheels, a Milwaukee angle grinder, an Eastwood 175 welder and Si Fang flap wheels.

Man this is a ton of work, lots of chances to show off your skills. I like how you go into each section of the bodywork. You’d think doing something like this would t be too hard but there’s a lot of decisions to make with each panel.
