It was 3650 with the old nitrous setup. Add all the turbo **** plus 5 gallons of water for the IC and then subtract the weight of the 4" exhaust. Down pipes were dumped right were a long tube header collector would be. Haven't figured out what to do about exhaust. It will be free flowing though. My best guess is just under 3750 lbs.

Here's a picture that made it's way on to the interweb.

First pass off the trailer [email protected]

Left lane sucked. Before he made his first pass the track manager told me to keep him in the right lane as they were testing the top fuel funny car in that lane. I told him but he said the line was too long.

Then he tightend up the front shocks a little and made one more pass in the wrong lane just to be sure that it wasn't working.LOL. The following pass he goes back to the right lane and makes the best [email protected] pass of the night. For the last pass he was just seeing how much boost it would build on the gate on the 2 step. That was almost 7 psi. Got a little spark off the hook under the kmember on the way down.

One thing that we do need to work on still is getting a cold source of air. Even with the A2W intercooler, we are still seeing charge temps in the low 90's by the end of the pass and ambient was about 65*F. We are thinking of making some sort of air box to pick up some air from somewhere other than the back of the radiator.

We started playing around with the boost controller wednesday night. DA was in the -200 range. First pass he put 3psi on the gate and it didnt do anything. Next pass he put 16 psi on the gate and broke the torque converter.

This is the same converter that was in there from the nitrous setup and seemed to be working perfect. It is a street converter with a sprag. I guess that FTI has a new sprag setup that will take 2,000 ft/lbs of torque. They should have the old converter today to tell us what happened. If all goes well, the new converter will go in Tuesday night and be ready for racing next wednesday.
