Well I must say running the restoration shop has been sucking up a lot more of my time than I would like LOL!
Back to the '77, we had a small issue with the one door so that has now been repaired and waiting for paint. I still have to prep the skirts and bumper fillers so when they are ready I will put into the booth to make all shiny shine

Got the new rims and tires on, hopefully have the bumpers back on next week.
Have to replace the steering wheel and trim. Had to use the original column (red) as the electrical connections are different from 75 to 77.
Just got it out of winter storage so she needs a clean-up!

Got the Lincoln home for the first time in years, many years lol.
Still lots to do but after I had the alignment done I just had to drive it home for the night!
Cleaned up the engine compartment and replaced the ignition wires with black ones.
Also replaced the Edelbrock 800cfm with a Proform (Holley) 650cfm, much happier now.
Have a great weekend!

Slowly picking away at the little things, got the base model wheel arch moldings installed,
Drove the car on the lawn for an impromptu photo shoot
Going to get the windows tinted tomorrow.
Then I need to fix the AC, having issues with the ATC i think so will have to sort that out.

Absolutely LOVE this build diary. Read the whole thing top to bottom! Can't wait to see the fully finished project. I sold my Road Runner convertible a while back and now I'm looking for a 1977 or 76 LTC to resto-mod and drive wheels off of! Also following you over at the Lincoln forum.

You're really making me miss the '78 Town Coupe I had 30+ years ago.
