AUDI DSG SHIFT BOOT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pull up on existing shift boot until gear shift panel pops up.
2. After you pop out the gear shift panel, lift up on the shift boot until you see the silver ring clip holding the boot in place. With a small screwdriver unclip it until it releases the gear shift knob. You will have to pull up on the knob in order to take the shift boot off but beware that the button on the shift knob will compress inward. Stick a small screw driver in between the button and the knob to prevent this from happening. After the knob has been removed, set aside and pull off the old shift boot.
3. Install the new shift boot the same way the stock boot was installed. Reinstall the shift knob. Afterwards, make sure that you re-install the ring clip that hold the gear shift knob onto the gearshift itself. Finally, firmly press in the gear shift plate until it clicks into place and then follow that with the new shift boot.

Useful tip
You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking.
