ok let me see if this works kool idea Randy thanks my friend. you too speedy with the freeze plug idea i just bought a set for the engine front and rear carbs im gonna take the choke plate out as i was told it will run on the just the center carb when starting till the other 2 kick in i was trying to come up with an idea for a scoop fashioned like an old style western coffin then i got thinking of using one of those newspaper boxes buy one in black airbrush some lighting bolts over a cemetery sceen i think thats what the guy used on that pumkin car for a scoop also picked like 7 yrds of purple crushed velvet for the interior and 1/2" H/D foam for the lid button tuff the center section of the lid still got a long way to go

took all the lining out of the body and started to do the diamond tuff pattern on the lid cardboard yup top dollar caskets use cardboard to staple the satin linings in place ill post a few pics tomorrow.. also braced up the steering with another piece of L and two more going to the steering box frame work....got a great score yesterday got a piece od alium diamond plate for the floor.... at Lowes its like 40.00 for a 12"x 12" piece since i work at a welding shop boss gave me a 4'x4' piece enuff for the floor board and trim and a piece on the evey front for the fueltank

here is some of the new lining for the top of the lid. pics are a little dark . the blue buttons will be covered with the purple as well 1" HD foam glued to the cardborad . for the sides i was thinking of maybe just adding a few pleats, this stuff shines nice. still got to come up with a way to attach it to the body the factory used a cripper to attach the satin to the sides . i tryed to do the seat in diamond tuff but didnt work so i just used that spray adhesive and wraped it in the velvet put this on and with the polished alium floor boards i think it will come out nice ..... any one live near cherry hill nj area that has a pipe bender maybe help with a small roll bar? really didnt want to go to HF and spend 100.00 and use it once could be a decent investment i guess probably be the last thing that goes in the car besides me
