Well, I threw out the rear seats, front crash bar, and carpet. That saves a little weight over stock, but I likely put it all back on with the rollcage. I think the Compo TH17 wheelsare not terribly heavy, so I figure I came out dead even on weight, compared to stock. I got the CF hood, more for the ventilation, than for saving weight.
So, as to weight, I may be a little bit ahead, but larger brakes are going on the car, so i figure I'll be about even on weight when it's all done.
As to the hp, I figure I'm comfortably adding 90+ hp to the car (I think Suzuki claims 140 hp stock)with the 7psi I'll be running. RRM's newer kits run at 10, 11, 12 psi. This is an older version of the kit (bought used off RRM's "SXForce" car). It has the older style wastegate, but would be an easy mod to allow for higher boost. That said, I'm not chasing the 300+hp mark with this project. Optimum reliability is what I desire, so I'm perfectly well satisfied with 7psi in this car.
I am moving to the Northeast for work. I need a car that's easy to park in small spaces, AWD, fun to drive, and snow-worthy. Check, check, check, and check.
Whatever the actual hp figure is, it'll be night and day compared to stock.

I ran with the idea...

Left the Suzuki "S" alone. I like that where it is.
Interior cleaned up real nice
More temporary donor wheels. I have no idea what kind they are, but they look really nice. Keeping the slots in the side skirt for the side pipes. Perhaps next year, when I move back to sunny Fl (where there's no inspection), I will add some side pipes, change out the waste gate, and crank up the boost to around 10 psi.
I can't say I don't like those wheels (whatever they are), but the Compomotive TH17's and a set of mud flaps, will give this car a totally different (less bling and more "strictly business") look. Those are definately nice looking wheels, though.
Not yet. Passenger side door latch and hydraulic busted. Still completing repairs to underside. Couple more weeks and I'll ship it to NRE
I'll try to get a better pic of the brake upgrade. You can sort of see them through the mesh wheels.
They're the big brakes that used to be on the Zuk car. Yes, they're blue... but you won't be able to see them with the Compo TH17's.
I dunno what the hell it is! I can ask Rob at RRM for you. It's like what was on the Zuk car with the Suzuki "S" I'm so fond of.
...except mine is in black it seems. RRM did a gorgeous job on the Zuk's inside rear, though. (note the "S" at 6 o'clock... I like)
haven't driven it yet. For the next year or so, I'm going to daily drive the car. After that, I may crank up the boost, add a proper set of coilovers (as well as side pipes), and take it to a few events, such as autocross.
For now, this is a purpose built car. 7psi (low boost) will be good foe 90 more hp than stock, and the entry-level coilovers (Megans) will be much bette than stock. It will stop much, much harder than stock for sure. Even if I do decide to raise the boost up to the 300 hp mark, the brakes will be enough.
In short, it'll drive good! You can make these cars drive way gooder, though. I am happy for now. I will post a vid when I drive it
The 5 spoke Speedlines I was referring to are these (black or silver):
