Sorry i haven't updated in a while but ive been busy on the Mini.
Any how here what you want to see Pictures -
Whilst cleaning up the boot i found some hidden rust that needed a sizable patch so thats now complete -
I can now say that the boot is RUST FREE !!!!
Welded on the rear valence -
I may not have mentioned this before but the Mini is going to be de bumper-ed, therefore there was no need for me to repair the rust on the lip -
I then cut and welded in small gaps along the rear -
It now looks like this -
It is so time consuming, it took me about 2 hours to do 50% of it
I then de bumperd the front which was much quicker and easier -
Started to filler it -
It still need more work -
I then began to filler the window repair i had done and its coming along nicely -
And finally got the arch in its first of many layers of chassis black -
I would greatly appreciate any comments or suggestions as it is very pleasing to hear other peoples thoughts.
More updates soon

A pretty productive day if i say so myself
Pictures -
Got the gear linkage hooked up, so the gears now all engage ( I probably should have painted the rods ) -
Got the bottom tie bar in -
Top tie bar in. Clutch all hooked up and bled so that now works and got the earth strap on -
Couldn't resist putting this up. Nice new dipstick -
I also used a shuctz gun to inject 3 Liters of Waxoyl into all the sills and i used a shuctz gun to anti stone chip the arches but i didn't get photos of this.
I will be going in the garage after tea to rebuild the sub frame so expect more tomorrow
Great Mini build!
